Community involvement & sponsorship

Etanans are always willing to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help individuals and communities in need. Our close ties with the Hollard Foundation help to ensure that we get involved in projects that are geaRED to bring about maximum positive and sustainable change in the areas they reach.

Through the foundation, Etana is involved in the upliftment of the Piels Farm crèche near Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg. Donations of cash and time have led to major improvements at the facility, which provides fun, food and wisdom for a small group of young community members.

The Hollard Foundation provides orphans and other vulnerable children, primarily affected by the HIV/Aids pandemic, with opportunities to achieve their full potential in life. The foundation operates as an independent trust set up by the Hollard Insurance Group as part of its broad-based black economic empowerment programme. The foundation’s work, therefore, helps thousands of South Africans at grassroots level, spreading the benefits across an incREDibly broad base.
