Although crime may appear more prevalent in South Africa, it is a worldwide phenomenon that has dire consequences for the insurance industry, whether it be due to loss, damages or injuries sustained.
The October issue of RiskSA highlights some of these aspects and includes input from Etanan Cynthia Nanthalall, National Operations Manager of Etana Marine, who explains the consequences of crime-related incidents connected to goods in transit.
