DaREDevils take to the streets of Dullstroom
Dullstroom daREDevils pound the tarmac to create cancer awareness
Word of the daREDevil run has spread throughout South Africa, and on 5 November those in the small town of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga got together for their own version of the event.
Pushing the pace along the 2011 daREDevil route
The run is aimed at creating awareness of cancers that affect males, and sees men in red Speedos taking to the streets during peak-hour traffic.
“Sixty men of all shapes and sizes showed they had the ‘balls’ to take part,” says organiser Del-Monte Roberts.
As always, Etana has your business covered!
The run started from the Poacher Pub and Grill and continued through the town to much support from spectators. Del-Monte says he hopes to include this event in the 2012 calendar.
On behalf of the organisers of the Dullstroom daREDevil run, Etana would like to thank The Clock Shop, Country Corner Café, Palmietfontein Water and Arbee’s Supermarket for their contribution to and support of this cause.
