Lombard Dynamites have Etanans seeing RED!
Etana's RED Devils soccer team
On Tuesday evening, 14 August 2012, our Etana RED Devils took on fellow soccer competitors Lombard Insurance at Discovery Soccer Park in Johannesburg.
Lombard Insurance brought their “A” game, complete with slick passes and fantastic finishing, which saw them to a comprehensive victory over the RED Devils (in fact, it was more like a thrashing, with a final score of 15-5!).
Despite the hugely bruised egos of the RED Devils (who even had their cheerleaders to cheer them on), it was a fantastic game of football with great sportsmanship from the Lombard Insurance boys, which shows that everyone in this industry can play together and have a good time.
Well done Lombard!
The Etana RED Devils are itching for the next encounter, which is due to take place later in the season. We have a dare for the boys at Lombard: the team that loses that game will have to play their next fixture in nothing but boots and Etana Speedos? Do we have a deal?
