A visit to our new-look site reveals contemporary “in-your-face” design elements complemented by improved operational efficiency.
The interactive flavour of the Etana interface continues to provide an added-value platform for Etanans, with special emphasis on our countrywide “local is lekker” broker network.
Familiar features on the site are easy to find, with dropdown menus providing easy access. These include links to the latest insurance industry news and trends; Etana people profiles; regular sponsorship coverage; relevant business stories; a database of preferred suppliers; coverage of industry events; and brand information.
Keeping everyone in the Etana family up to date with what’s happening at Etana and within the industry, both domestically and internationally, means that we’re equipped with all the business tools required to take Etana to new heights this year.
Towards the end of 2011 our online service provider, Flow Communications, upgraded the site to give it its great new look.
Richard Frank, Flow’s head of programming, says the revamp provided an ideal opportunity to refine different areas of the site and introduce new front-end technologies.
“We’ve brought the Etana site up to speed and built on a wider grid system, which allows us to use screen real estate more fully,” he says.
“The site is more user friendly and works well with new-generation browsers. Employing HTML5 and CSS3 elements facilitated these improvements.”
Says Etana’s marketing manager, Josie Holley: “We’re excited about the awesome new look and feel of our site, which better reflects Etana’s core brand values and presents Etana as a cutting-edge, professional industry player.”
