Etana’s second birthday celebrations have started across the country, demonstrating Etana’s marvellous diversity and poweRED passion!
The team in Cape Town went to the top of Table Mountain to celebrate the milestone (and to enjoy the view).
“We are so used to the mountain that we never think to go up there,” says Etanan, Charl Swarts. “Our trip to the top reminded us that there’s a beautiful world out there… and lots of potential for us to grow!”
Middelburgers hosted a breakfast for ladies in the industry.
“We believe that girl power will play a big role in making it happen for Etana in the future,” says Rhonda Botes. “It’s amazing how many of us there are in insurance, even in our little dorpie!”
Etanans in Jo’burg and Pretoria went out to see brokers with mini birthday cakes, and happy birthday has been sung many times!
Etanans in the Jacaranda City celebrated on Friday by throwing a birthday party fit for a fabulous two-year-old, complete with party favours, sweets, cool drinks, a jumping castle and, of course, plenty of cake.
“It was great fun behaving like a kid again,” said Justin Naylor. “We often get so immersed in the serious business of doing business that we forget not to take ourselves too seriously!”
In Durban, Etanans celebrated at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, which will be hosting a FIFA World Cup™ semi-final on 7 July 2010.
“You can see forever from the top of the 350-metre-high arch!” said Zuriel Naiker. “A great perspective of a great city with great company!”
Jo’burgers will be letting their hair down at Etana House on Wednesday, ahead of an Etana REDs game at Zoo Lake.
