Justin Naylor, head of Independent Brokers in Etana’s Johannesburg office, was in full swing on 19 January in the invitational Lions rugby golf day at Copperleaf Golf Course.
Justin’s four-ball included brokers Chris Sounes (Industrial and Domestic Risk Services), Carl-Francois Furstenburg (PSG Konsult) and Lions and Springbok flyhalf Butch James. Other Lions players were Currie Cup-winning captain Josh Strauss and master of the boot Elton Jantjies.
“It was a great opportunity to spend time with an incredible person and highly regarded rugby player,” says Justin. “Butch James is considered one of the best players in the world. The experience at the golf day inspired me to be even better at business insurance, and inspire others at Etana to do the same this year.”
Come 24 February, Etanans, brokers, friends and family will be behind the guys in red and white when the Lions, which are insured by Etana, kick off their quest to take the silverware in the Super Rugby campaign.
When asked about the team’s chance of a successful Super Rugby competition, a member of the Lions said, “If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.”
