Welcome David Pratt, tourism specialist

Etana is proud to welcome David Pratt to our team. David is based in our Durban office and will be responsible for Etana’s specialised tourism product, which offers complete risk solutions specifically to the South African hospitality industry.

His appointment comes as Etana splits the responsibilities of the Wildlife & Tourism centre of excellence following high demand for its products. Creating the tourism division will allow Joan Jackson, head of Etana Wildlife & Tourism, to focus exclusively on the specialised wildlife product. Together, David and Joan will now be able to provide even better levels of service to brokers.

Charl Swarts, head of Etana Commercial & Industrial, says, “Etana is proud to provide risk solutions to many vital components of the Southern African economy. The tourism industry contributes immensely to South Africa’s gross domestic product each year and trade in the wildlife sector is also significant. Etana has always been at the forefront of product innovation and the addition of David to the team further bolsters this position.”
