Bad luck for Etana-sponsoRED Brian Algar at Zwartkops
Brian Algar’s Etana-poweRED Shelby Can-Am did not disappoint at the Friday practice sessions at Zwartkops, and was consistently the fastest racer on the track, putting him in good stead for official qualifying. His fine form during practice earned him the fastest qualifying time and pole position for Saturday’s race. Brian was extremely confident of taking victory in race one, and with good reason, as he was faster than fellow competitor Rui Campos. But nature intervened, and when the black clouds hovering over Zwartkops opened up to drench the track, disaster set in among the Shelby ranks.
