Etanans and brokers get in on the action at the Zwartkops International

The Zwartkops Raceway in Pretoria West was a hive of activity on Saturday 28 January 2012 for the Zwartkops International, as local and international racers entertained crowds who’d packed the track-side grandstands.

The main pit area was the place to be as enthusiasts had their chance to see, touch and hear some very rare machinery.

Full marks for Etanans on Wellness Day

Aerobics workouts, cholesterol tests, boot camp fitness challenges, and mountain hikes were the order of the day at Etana’s countrywide Wellness Day on Friday 27 January.

For the past seven years Etanans countrywide have voluntarily supported a free Wellness Day programme in the interests of promoting good health. Once again Etana Johannesburg saw a 100% turnout for their annual health assessments.

Hard work pays off as Etana students impress with their year’s work

In the Etana Academy programme, Etana conducts a year-long course for students on elements of short-term insurance. The company also provides students with the opportunity of obtaining work experience and, after passing the course, students are handed a short-term insurance qualification.

Etana’s incREDible partners do their bit to support cancer awareness

The 2011 daREDevil run, organised to create awareness of prostate and testicular cancer and support those combating the disease, was a great success. Much organisation and planning took place ahead of the event, which was held on 4 November in three “local is lekker” cities for the first time – Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban – with CANSA being the main benefactor of the event.

On Friday 4 November insurance delegates from the Durban region congregated at the International Convention Centre for the annual Insurance Institute of KwaZulu-Natal (IIKZN) gala dinner.

The Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG) held its annual golf day on 16 August 2011, and celebrated their centenary, at the Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate.

The day, poweRED by Etana Insurance as the main sponsors, featured several four balls including brokers, insurers and members of the insurance industry.
