In September 2011, Etana Wildlife and Tourism attended the Thaba Tholo auction which takes place outside Thabazimbi. New records were achieved when Senatla, the prize buffalo bull, was auctioned for an incredible R18 million to a private buyer. Our Wildlife team provided cover for this animal prior to the auction taking place, during the course of the event and 14 days after he had been sold.
