Suzanne (Sue, Suzy, Suzanna) Heyns spends her days hunting for good, profitable business for Etana George. She’s joined the Etana ranks in February 2011 from Zurich’s George branch where she was a broker development manager.

Tanita Oberholster

Tanita Oberholster joined Etana’s Wildlife and Tourism team at the end of 2011 to assist with underwriting and administration. Tanita joined us straight from “the PUK” in Potchefstroom where she studied human resource management.

“It was amazing to join this incredible company straight after completing my studies,” she says. “Being part of such a great team has been a wonderful experience.”

Teshania Ajodha

Known by colleagues as Tesh or Dish, Teshania Ajodha joined Etana’s training and development team in 2010. “I assist Fatima Maharaj with training at the Etana Academy, where students gain work experience in various areas of the company business,” says Teshania. “I monitor their performance during a year, and make sure they enjoy their time at Etana.”

Travis Hugh Maclachlan

If you have ever called Travis on his mobile and he is unable to take your call you are immediately transferred to his voice mailbox. Here you gain a great sense of his joyful, committed and dedicated character.

Trevor Matthew

When anyone in Etana’s Durban team is faced with an issue, whether it be gaining further information on a broker, a broken photo copier or plumbing issues in the kitchen, Trevor ‘Mister Fix It’ Matthew, is called upon to provide assistance. Trevor is an internal broker consultant – and sometime handyman – in the Etana Durban office. He has been with the company for 18 years.

Vincent Geffroy

From his base at Etana Cape Town, Vincent Geffroy’s primary focus is underwriting engineering business for Cape Town, Boland and George. Allied to his underwriting function, Vincent also assists with cross-selling and provides technical support where possible.

Vino Naiker

Vino Naiker works in the claims department at Etana’s Durban branch. She regards her position as being the best and most exciting due to it being the shop front of the business. Vino goes by either the name of Wino or BMV (Big Mouth Vino) at the office; these attributes are due to her passionate and committed attitude towards everything she does, and the fact that she loves making things happen.

Warwick Goldie

Warwick Goldie is the head of Etana Specialist Risks. He started out as a banker, but this has not prejudiced his career growth in any way. He’s a doting dad, a sports fanatic and a sucker for getting and giving good customer service. He believes in seizing the day, although he has been spotted giving it horns at night as well.

William Jephtha

William, or Billy as he is called by his colleagues, works in Etana Cape Town’s Construction, Engineering and Guarantees team, where he handles underwriting, premium receipting and renewals.

I work within the claims team at our Johannesburg branch. Claims form the backbone of our business and I am proud to be part of this important team.

Zuriel Naiker

Etana Durban’s Zuriel Naiker, who also answers to Zoo or Zoot, was a tour manager for Contiki Holidays prior to joining Etana in 2010. Before he started whisking groups of 50 people around Europe, Zuriel worked with the Hollard Group for Hollard Select Brokers in portfolio management and later at the Hollard Group’s marketing division in external communications.
