This jovial character is extremely passionate about his job, and is always willing to lend a hand for any Etana cause. For instance, he had no gripes when we asked him to run onto the Coca Cola Park rugby field in a daREDevil speedo in front of a full house.
“People refer to me as either ‘Sir Aaron’ or ‘Milky Bar’, and I hold a position in the hero department at Etana Insurance,” he explains. “Claims people have regular contact with brokers and even clients, and our services need to be effective and efficient.
“This forms my main responsibility – to make sure we offer our brokers great service, and that claims are paid with minimal fuss. We are under pressure on a daily basis, but I try make every day an adventure by entertaining and supporting fellow Etanans.”
Aaron displayed key Etana values by registering for his regulatory environment examinations. He showed a need to ‘grow’ his insurance knowledge, he ‘made it happen’ by achieving an incREDible result, and is now motivated to ‘know’ even more about the industry.
“I really enjoy interacting with fellow Etanans, and I love the monthly team talks we have. The chats are really interesting, and we get the chance to experience the company’s diversity. The daREDevil run is also fantastic – it allows us to create cancer awareness and support those who are combating the illness. It also reminds Etanans and others to not take themselves seriously, but take what they do seriously.”
Aaron’s favourite RED item is his daREDevil speedo, as he knows that his goods will always be business coveRED.
He concludes, “Live each day in courage and gratitude, showing a deep sense of appreciation to people who encourage our progress and development. Let us all be open to growth and make things happen, and always give with no regrets. God is love and love is God.”
