What do you you do?
I am part of the fantastic risk management team.

How long have you been with Etana and what did you do beforehand?
I have been with the company for 29 years. I went straight from school to the army. From there I began my career in insurance.

Etana believes in employing and working with only the best. How do you feel about this?
I totally agree and, seeing that I am still working for this company after all these years, I hope I also fall into that category.

Etana has specific values – be open, grow, know make it happen and give. How do you feel about these and have you seen them in other Etanans?
Yes, Etanans are always giving and trying to live these values in every possible way.

Provide a fun fact about yourself, what you enjoy doing in your free time or a special characteristic about yourself!
I am a soccer fanatic and have been playing since the age of six. I hung up my boots because it was getting increasingly difficult to lose weight and keep fit. I support any side that plays against Manchester United.

What have you enjoyed most about Etana since joining the company?
The transparency that his practised by management. Secrets are not kept from Etanans, and if we want to know all we have to do is ask.

Tell us more about your family.
I have been married for 27 years (hard labour) and have two sons, aged 26 and 23, whom I am extremely proud of.

What is your favourite RED item?
A brand new Audi A1.

Anything else you’d like to share?
I am proud to be part of Etana, the risk management team in particular. I can see we are making a difference in claims statistics and this provides for major job satisfaction.
