What do you do?
I’m a risk surveyor, and determine if the risk we are insuring or are about to insure is an excellent, good, moderate or poor risk. More like the eyes and ears of the company.

How long have you been with Etana and what did you do beforehand?
I have been here for four years. I was involved with claims before this.

Etana believes in employing and working with only the best. How do you feel about this?
It feels great that Etana always goes for the best within the market; it gives young and upcoming people like me an opportunity to learn, and the inspiration to work hard.

Etana has specific values – be open, grow, know, make it happen and give. How do you feel about these and have you seen them in other Etanans?
These values are there to encourage each person to prove him/herself and have an opportunity to learn things within the business. Since I joined the company I have seen this in other Etanans and it motivates me each day to do something myself.

Provide a fun fact about yourself, what you enjoy doing in your free time or a special characteristic about yourself.
I like playing soccer, especially for the Etana Reds. I’m just an average guy who loves time spent with friends and family.

What have you enjoyed most about Etana since joining the company?
Its diversity and the friendly staff and management.

Tell us more about your family.
I live with my two brothers, and a little sister in Grade 12 this year, so we are a family of young adults.
