Celina Bhima, Celinetjie to her Afrikaans friends, joined the administration side of Etana Johannesburg’s marine department nearly three years ago.
“It’s great to know that I work with people who are the best and who give of their best,” says Celina.

“Since the day I started here, I have seen Etana’s values at work, particularly the ‘giving’ attitude. We give the best when it comes to insurance,” she adds. Celina rates the Etana family as the thing she’s enjoyed most about working at Etana.

Asked who keeps her warm at night, Celina says, “It’s just me and my duvet, but I do have a fondness for cute, cuddly puppies.”

“My favourite vegetable would have to be calabash, a type vine squash that Indians know well,” she adds.

Celina gives a thumbs down to Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga, but says she wouldn’t mind looking like Aishwarya Rai! Although she has no funny stories, Celina says that before she joined the insurance world, she believed it was “only for cars”.
