East London-based Hazel (Haze, Hazebabe, Hazydazey) Bentley drives around the town and countryside, “developing further relations with her brokers and showcase why Etana is the best business insurer to work with in insuring their clients are covered”.

Prior to joining Etana early in 2011, Hazel worked for the Blue Team, but says she feels “honoured and blessed” to be working with Etana.

“As a new Etanan, I find the values – be open, grow, make it happen and give – quite different and I’ve been blown away by the Etanans I’ve met so far,” she says.

Hazel’s most impressed by the people in the company. “There are no airs and graces – what you see is what you get. That’s very refreshing!”
She describes herself as a “boring person”, who enjoys reading, cooking (and eating) and music, “which I play loudly and sing along to on my weekly trips to Queenstown”. 

She’s also very good at DIY and says she’s the only female she knows who gets excited about buying a new power tool.

Haze is a single parent to a 16-year-old (going on 30) son whom she describes as “the light of my life”.

And her favourite RED thing… Lindt chilli chocolate; favourite animal – golden retriever and definitely Lady Gaga over Dolly Parton!

Hazel admits to having a large store of funny insurance stories, having been in the industry for 30-odd years, but says she’ll only share them when she knows you better.
